Cleansing Fingertips: What They Are, How to Use Them and How to Choose a Supplier

Release Date: 2026-10-10  Views: 1257

Cleansing fingertips are small honeycomb sleeves worn on the finger. They remove makeup with nothing but water, and they are replacing cotton pads in more and more bathrooms.

A cleansing fingertip is made from thermoplastic polyurethane formed into an open honeycomb mesh. Slipped over the index finger and wetted, its textured surface grips foundation, sunscreen and lipstick and lifts them away by friction alone. Because no solvent is involved, nothing is left behind on the skin - no alcohol, no fragrance, no preservative. That is why dermatologists suggest them for sensitive, reactive and acne-prone skin, and for the delicate area around the eyes.

Using them takes less than a minute. Wet the sleeve with warm water, add a small amount of your usual cleanser, and massage the face in gentle circles, starting from the centre and moving outward. Rinse the sleeve and let it air dry. The honeycomb structure drains instantly and is dry within an hour, so bacteria and odour have no time to develop, which is the main weakness of sponges and cotton rounds.

Three details matter when choosing a supplier. First is the density of the cleansing fingertips: fine mesh for daily facial use, medium for body exfoliation. Second is material certification - OEKO-TEX and recyclable TPU are now standard requirements for European buyers. Third is packaging, because retail-ready pouches with a printed logo shorten the buyer's own preparation work.

Shenzhen Chenghao manufactures cleansing fingertips in custom colours, mesh densities and packaging, with low minimum order quantities. Email jack@bathingglove.com for samples.
