Cleansing Fingertips vs Makeup Wipes: A Gentler Way to Remove Makeup

Release Date: 2026-10-10  Views: 1652

Makeup wipes are convenient, but they are also the most common cause of redness around the eyes. Cleansing fingertips offer a reusable alternative that buyers are increasingly asking for.

Cleansing fingertips are small TPU honeycomb sleeves worn on one or two fingers. Used with water and a mild cleanser, the honeycomb surface lifts foundation, sunscreen and mascara through gentle friction instead of chemicals. Because only water is needed, there is no alcohol or preservative left on the skin, which is why dermatologists recommend them for sensitive and acne-prone skin.

Disposable wipes, by contrast, rely on solvents to dissolve makeup. They work quickly, but the alcohol content can sting the eye area, and a single pack generates waste every day. For a hotel or spa counting both cost and sustainability targets, that difference adds up over a year.

Using fingertips is straightforward: wet the sleeve, add a pea-sized amount of cleanser, then work in small circles from the centre of the face outward. Rinse and air dry after each use, and replace the pair every two to three months. The TPU honeycomb resists bacteria and dries within an hour, so it stays hygienic far longer than a sponge or cotton pad.

For OEM buyers, the sleeves can be produced in custom colours, densities and packaging, with logo printing on the pouch. See the cleansing fingertips range or contact jack@bathingglove.com for samples and a quotation.
